"We spent an incredibly relaxing week at this cottage in August 2009.
The water views are "drop dead" with the cottage lawn extending to the beach wall and private beach. Hydrangeas, roses, flower gardens and overflowing window boxes complete the picture book setting, Inside we found it well l supplied with high quality linens and towels. The kitchen has everything you need to prepare a meal which we did one night for visiting guests. Dining that night on the lawn overlooking the water was memorable. Area restaurants are excellent and abundant making eating in truly optional. We plan to put this on must do list each summer. "

"We found Bristol Sails Cottage while sailing from Newport to Bristol. It was like finding a gem along the coast of Rhode Island! A private romantic beachfront cove with our own "Boutique" rose cottage. The glorious scented gardens with profusions of roses, covered arbors and bright blue hydrangeas bordering the oceanfront are picturesque and caught our eye as we were sailing by. It gave us the feel of old Nantucket Island but was right here in Bristol, which for us is less than an hour away. Inside the cottage we found it to have a dreamy romantic character. Each room is newly restored with the ambiance of its originality and has an abundance of sunny ocean views. The cottage is intricately prepared for us as an upscale designer B&B complete with fluffy pillows, linens, french milled soaps, and every amenity. We feel right at home and are pampered for our entire stay We can set sail directly in front of the cottage to a new adventure everyday or take our bikes into town to sightsee and picnic at Colt State Park. For us the only choice while we visit in the Bristol/Newport area is to come to our home away from home, Bristol Sails Cottage."
